Today I went to church and to Greenville.

I will expand this later. Right now, I'm really tired.
  • The square root of soon is never.
  • Luke (a 3 year old) was so excited about this little race car that I named Fredrick. It made us friends.
  • Emerald is definitely a black stripper name.
  • Ohpa!
  • "hmu" apparently means "hit me up." Sorry middle school friends. I just thought you all had a brain malfunction when I was trying to pronounce it.
  • Frightening Emerald is frightening.
  • They (cicadas) don't have bones. -Hilary
  • I finally met Dr. Hahn!! She is AWESOME!
  • Blue is not a flavor!!!
  • Definitely thought that some guy at the gas station was dead or knocked out. He was sort of half kneeling in his truck and not moving the lower half of his body. He's lucky I didn't call 911. Or freak out. Jk, I freaked out.
  • Meat Loaf (person) is just bad meatloaf (food). All gross and sweaty.
  • Sam- Can you mimic unreal things? Me- I can mimic a unicorn! Neigh! Sam- Unicorn! Me- Unicorns don’t say "unicorn!" Sam- UNICORN!!!

Shows With Dead Bodies

You gotta love crime tv. The beginning is usually always the same with a few variations. Unsuspecting persons come across remains and freak out. OR the soon-to-be victim shows us what happened moments before his or her death.
As annoyingly predictive as this is, how else are the writers supposed to introduce the episode?
[Leave helpful comments below!] [Yay! Interactive blog!]
I mean, I'm sure it's hard enough coming up with creative ways to kill people and only have a couple of red herrings (and by couple i mean several) per season. But I mean, come on guys.
I only mention this because I am starting to watch Body of Proof on Hulu. (I've gone through my queue already.) So that's about it.
OH! Also, I really love when they say the title of the episode, in the episode. (Also, it's great when movies do that too. There's a Family Guy about it too. You should see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEi4I6UWuDQ
Also, I found another clip of movies saying the title. It uses a lot of movies geared toward a younger audience, so I am assuming it will be funny to most of you guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIUhA--KQP4&NR=1

NOW, I am done. I think.
PS, Sorry about the random fonts. I'm trying to find one I really like.
PPS, Comments are always appreciated.

I'll go be colorful somewhere else

  • I'm not amused. -Dad
  • Sarah Palin can see Russia from her house. Dad- She never said that!!
  • The avengers series is going to be awesome!!! (I saw Thor on Thursday. It was meh, but I'm looking forward to the rest of the movies.)
  • Meatloaf, should I run for president? -Trump
  • Chickfila just text me at 3am. Wtf
  • Parents laughing outside of bedroom. Help
  • The PCA carnival was SO much fun!
Sorry for the bad grammar. I was typing this throughout yesterday and today. As you can see, not much happened. I went to a book fair carnival today at my sister's high school (well, it's a K-12 school) and I hung out with the coolest ninth and eighth graders in the world. (Shout out to Hannah and Lyndsey!) Other than that, not much happening. Tomorrow (well, today) I'm helping out with a church yard sale so that should be full of would be Tweets and status updates. Whooo!

Clarifying

So, I know I had said that I hope less frequent updates will result in more "popularity," but that is primarily for humor. Really, I hope to become less dependent upon social media. Just thought I would clear that up.

Why?

A question everyone wants the answer to when a blog is first published. Why? Because it is expected that the blogger will tell his or her readers (or mom) why his or her soul is being laid out raw, bare, for all to see on the internet. In my case, I am blogging because I realized today that I use instant social media far too frequently.
I updated my Facebook status and Tweeted 9 times. (Wow, only 9? It sure felt like a lot more.) While for some, that may just have gotten you through your morning routine, to me, that seems a bit much. Maybe. I started to become paranoid that people were getting annoyed with my frequent updates when my notifications gradually decreased in quantity.
"Are they not funny enough?" "Are they too 'pop culture'?" "Too many inside jokes?"
These questions haunted me all day. Less updates may increase notifications thus increasing my social status (which, after all, is why we use social media). But how can I continue to document my thoughts, actions, and observations without a massive deluge? *lightbulb* Blogging! But isn't blogging kind of early 2K? Maybe. But we shall see. I had a blog once... lasted 3 weeks... I think. (Hm... what ever happened to that?) Now, seeing as this is the start of the summer, I may just have created this blog out of boredom (probably) but hopefully this shall be the cure for my instant social media disease. (Labels are like hashtags? #amiright? #reallyhopeimright).
So. Here's the deal. Since most (90%) of my status updates and Tweets are provided via my HTC Hero and TweetCaster, I have (hopefully) found an app that will allow me to blog on the go! Wha-ho! If not, I'm not sure what I will do. Maybe just use a note app? So, while this blog may have long posts such as this (I'm planning on publishing one of my answers for an exam I just finished), mostly it will be sort of bullet points of would-be tweets or statuses. Here goes...
